Yep, given the current climate, poor taste indeed.

I'm thinking that this is in pretty bad taste regardless of climate...

It's a fantasy figure and many figures in this genre have a blatantly sexual and even misogynistic agenda to them. I don't find it offensive but given the conservative nature of this forums membership, I can understand why some do.

Appropriate figure to remember what happened after October 31, 1517

In this context I can appreciate the figure
otherwise I would have difficulty exposing it to my showcase

I do not know the world of games with figures
so I can not give a judgment

bad or not bad taste I would not know ... just as the orror films can please or not

    wishes for your work

My objection to this sort of adolescent titillation has nothing to do with conservatism. It's bollocks like this that encourages the old attitudes and is offensive.

I don't find nudity offensive. But this piece objectifies and dehumanizes women. Geez, this guy has an entire category of figures called "Victim Girls" on his website. It is as if he is utterly incapable of seeing women as people. He only sees them as objects who's sole purpose is to satisfy him.

If I were moderator, this guy would be banned.

Don’t want to belabour it, but if respect is part of good manners, then I wonder what message this sends to the female painters on the site. However innocent the motivation, there needs be consideration for the viewers who may not understand some fuller explanation . History and this figure don’t seem remotely connected..

I find it hard to believe a moderator is trying to justify this.

    It's called sarcasm.
I don't get indignant over SS figures.

This is beyond distasteful. A NSFW tag doesn't make it okay either. I have a hard enough time trying to explain to coworkers and friends what this hobby is without lame shit like this.

I dislike this company - I'm no prude but this is really beyond and lots of their releases are in this genre...

Yes, this sort of figure tends to bring the hobby into disrepute, and while most people don’t care about modelling, they do care about the degradation of woman, which is what this depicts. And those people don’t differentiate between armor and figure modelling, and the above. Also, I don’t want to have to explain the difference.

Personally I am not keen on these types of figures or indeed scantily clad figures whatever the scale ...just not my thing
