Hi folks

When visiting model shows some modelmakers are in awe of the competition entries, and feel they couldn't compete.

Yet their figures are admired on forums like this, and at regional shows.....So they are wanted at Euro Miniatures Expo to be seen and enjoyed by a wider audience.

For all Planeteers visiting Folkestone next month, I am delighted to announce, (with the enthusiastic backing of our moderater Kev "Nap" Peart), the provision of a table display space for us to take advantage of as forum members.

Featuring our own display of figures and photos of our popular Model of the Month Entries, we can both publicise the forum and use the display as a meeting hub at the show for Planeteers who don't know each other.

So,......if you are competing, please put something extra in your model box and put it on display, If you are visiting for either a day or the weekend and not competing, please display a model or two.

All contributions are welcome and the stand will be manned by me.

Thanks must go to Jay Martin and Marc Megroot for volunteering figures already.

A great idea - it's nice to see a PF presence at more of the regional shows, too. Sadly, I am unable to attend Euro again this year, but I wish all attendees a good show and hope it goes from strength to strength

Great idea and good luck for new members. We do the same thing at Reapercon who is kind enough to give us space and we always seem to pick up a couple of new members for our "North Texas Figure Club" and they do not have to be just figure modellers.

Nice one Kev, I was thinking of an easy way of doing the names on models thing, so.....
I am getting some cards printed with PF logo along the top and a clear space below for you to add your name etc with the 'Forum Sharpie'...(best writing only folks), so just rock up to the table, group your figs, or single fig, add name card and enjoy the show.

So if you can knock out some biz cards it looks like our point of sale stuff is done!

Really like this idea . Good luck with it and I hope to see a post update on how it went . One day I hope to make it to Euro.
We did something similar here at our show in Atlanta, USA, we had a club table and members brought first or from the start in the hobby and then a current figure. We attracted a lot of folks to that table. We wanted to show people interested in the hobby that they can paint a figure and the Atlanta Military Figure Society is more than happy to help them in any way.

Anyway. Really love this idea and to meet the PF people

This idea was mooted some years ago, (I believe by Tecumseh), but circumstances have fallen into our lap here with the opportunity, and we already 'have the display kit'
