    Great I will grab one from them, I am interested in the painting of the WW2 Busts featured in Vol 1, I tend to paint Ancient and Medieval subjects because you can get away with the sheen on the clothing etc but modern warfare subjects dont look good unless the uniforms are totally matt.

    A new product for matting dead flat the acrylics is also this one:

    I think that you can give a try if the acrylic surface is dead matt and put the oils in a carton for 20 minutes before painting, you can have a very good result. Essence de petroleum also is good for a little thinner along with Zippo oil.
