    Excellent depiction of rusty metal.
The forbearance that you've achieved with the eyes is very poignant.

    Cheers,

Wonderful usage of materials and technique. Surely having application beyond the subject

What a masterful and original approach to a well known subject. I, too, will look forward to reading/viewing your process in finishing this creature. (y)

Thank you....I originally thought this piece would not be well received....so I am pleased it appealed too so many :)

Just to give you an idea of how it was achieved....the technique involved acrylic (Vallejo)....pastels...oil paint...acrylic inks....and 'hairspray'.

I will try and find my WIP photo's and notes....then will post a short SBS ;)
