Superb, still not convinced the bird looks right though, but no real reason just a feeling, possibly it's a bit small ?

Great subject, very nicely done. The only thing I'm not too sure about is the flame effect. Great idea, but not sure that it will work too well in practice. I think the bird looks OK.

Very nice, with superb detailing! Not too keen on the flame idea - singeing the tail feathers? With a slight adjustment he could be wiping oil [blood?] off his sword?

    Hi Hugo,

Without doubt this has got amazing details , I see what is trying to be depicted with the bird but I agree that the flame does not work

Speaking as a painter ....depicting flames could be difficult to do successfully and this mght put potential customers off

The idea of Ian's to be wiping blood from the sword is a very good one IMO ...the story about the bird could be still included in the info sheet .

Take the sword from the scabbard and put it in his hand in place of the torch

Loose the bird totally put a cloth in that hand ..maybe slightly lower the arm , slight movement of the head

I know a lot has gone into this piece but it would look better

This is what makes RP what they are .....asking and listening

Very interesting figure, but the chain mail is of an unusual design.

    Hi Hugo ,

Just got back in from being away ....my view is that this is a perfect subject for 90mm ...just look at all the textures for example on the shoes , so much detail all over making it great for a bust of course .

Looking forward to the changes being done

    Hello Mr. Steve...

Thank you for your comment... About the flame... We do some tests before decide to do the flame... Ive a friend that in my opinion did a GREAT job with Goblin... I receive some inputs that told me... "Paint fire its very difficult..." So, what yoiu think... We have to find out a solution... We did a cristal resin piece... and started do washes with orange, red, and so one... and has you know, the fire is something like translucid... And with the washes, you can give life to fire... Its teh some consept of Goblin Bust... To glass aspect its very difficult, but if you have a piece in cristal resin, it will be much easier, and I alreday saw some works... And the final result is AMAZING... And this is the idea that we will use in Harald Hardrada...

About 90mm figure, what you think of the idea?

    Thank you Sir...

    Hello Mr. Oda...

Tahnk you for your comment and support... It will be a 1/9 Scale Bust and Im thinking in produce the full figure in 90mm... In the begining I have in my mind a 75mm figure... But with all this details, I think we will win in produce a 90mm figure... You will see much better the details, and bring them to life... So, I want to listen your opinion about produce a 90mm figure, if you dont mind, of course...

    Thank you Sir.

    Hello Mr. Ian

Thank you for your comment... After I saw your comment and receive a few emails and messages to ask us to put a sword in the place of the torch, we STOP to think...

Harald Hardrada was a GREAT HERO... In the Sicily Campaign, he used some methods, that we do an analyse today, and we say... "UUUUUUAAAAAUUUUUUUUUU.... The guy did that?".... When I listen the first stories from Harald Hardrada my mind STOP... I never could imagine, one guy that simulate is own death, entry in the muslim castle, take out the box, and start kill enemies and open teh gates of the castle... This is a Trojan Horse Version, but much after version...

One time, in one siege, he did a mine to send the walls of the castle down... But he puted the sand of the mine inside of the river that passed near by, for no one can see what they are doing...

And my favorite history... He used birds to put fire at the castle... This guy is a truly genious... What a history...

I think we will change, and we will take of the torch and we will put a sword in his hand... We will put a small fire in the bird, and we will give a idea that the bird is flying to castle, to burn the castle, and Harald already have the sword ready to combat... and people just have to do some washes in a small fire point that the bird have in his legs...

About the 90mm sacle, what you think of the idea?

Thank you Sir for your help...
    With best regards
