Cassart prices are ok for sizes 3/0 to 0:

then Jacksons get cheaper for the larger sizes:

Delivery would be free with Jacksons and £3.95 from Cassart so unless you're planning on buying loads of smaller size brushes (or you can get to a Cass Art shop), I'd probably go with Jacksons.

There may be better deals out there but that's what I come up with from the 2 main stores I use :)

Just a note about buying in bulk too - last night after several years of using the same three Series 7 sables I thought they were looking a little worn (not much though so they last well). That was okay I thought as I had a few stored away that I bought at the same time on a good deal. Got them out and the ferules had all tainted to a nasty 'corrosion' colour. Stored them perfectly in their tubes so don't know what happened. The brush tips look fine but next time I may only buy enough for my immediate needs.
    Cheers

    Hi Mat

    I would ask W&N for a replacement
Seriously I have never seen a ferrule go bad in decades of using good brushes.
Is it possible for you to take a picture or two ?

    Thanks

I'm looking at a couple of no.6 W&N brushes that I have had for over 30 years! The ferrules are now dull but not corroded, where have they been stored? Mine have been abused over the years and don't have a good point but are still perfectly serviceable for larger areas. I was shocked to find out they would cost me over £38 these days, I think work bought me them years ago. :)
