    Hi
Decided to give a try to a WW2 german with this Pz.Grenadier of the 11te Pz. Div. somewhere in the south east of France in 44. At this stage, the figure is raw of alignements, before cleanup, CAD and digisculpt of, well, quite everything.
This one with Zeltbahn and just the Mauser rifle

    That looks promising!
Glad he is Wehrmacht and carrying a rifle. Too many SS with MG42s already! :)
Hope you'll do this in 1:24 as well.

Map case indicates that he is a NCO. Nice folds - are their other angles of the figure ready to show??:)
    Cheers, Martin

Yes, the figure is already in 3D, nothing done since the first picture

As I said previously, this is raw from alignment and need now several hours CAD and digital sculpt work. Do not look too much at the rifle, I made a quick addition of a general scan of a 98K with bayonnet to get the idea, but at the end, there will be a 98K without bayonnet

IMO, nothing is more stylish than a WW2 German soldier.
    1/32 would be great!

The scans look good. There is always a ton of cleanup to get it printer ready. What software are you using to align the scans?
  8. armorer Member

It is scan only. I do not see the creation and design of 3D digital sculpting from title of the section. :(

this forum is dedicated to the creation and design of 3D digital sculpting and rendering, I may have misunderstand..,
So, this is like a photography in 3D, you go inside a story, you decide a pose, you decide how the sight should be, then you scan.

So, n0 creation in photography ? Then you need to align, all scan, to repair, to make a complete cad drawing of the Mauser, So, no design ?
