Hiya folks - after several years away from figures I decided to get back on the horse and build a few. My, how things have changed (well some things anyway);) Painting has become a real art form, fabulous magazines, people sculpting cracking figures . . .

Alongside the balsa and tissue that inhabit my workbench there's now a new pile of magazines, several unstarted Historex figures in their boxes, a couple of historex figures taking shape and even a couple of metal figures in u/c awaiting the kiss of life from a brush. I'll try and post a pic or two so folks can see what I'm up to here in deepest darkest Dorset (In the UK)

    Cheers for now
    Paul

Okay overall view of the work area, plus a couple of fuzzy close-ups. The horse is for the Historex Scots Grey and has already been 'porked up' with various changes made in white miliput and another putty whose name escapes me.

The lady in the wind is one of my old ones that I thought deserved a re-paint and she's alongside Wyatt Earp

    Thanks for the welcomes folks

I'll see what I can do Nap - Bath's not too far away and it'd be good to see some stuff in the flesh (Or plastic/metal/resin) Any further details available?

You and me both Zane - for some reason the box photo shows him dressed in brown; whereas I can only picture him in a dusty black with a fancy waistcoat. We'll see had bad my eyesight's become :cautious:

Welcome back to the hobby Paul. I think you'll find that things have moved on considerably since the days of Historex, although for some they remain a sentimental favourite. There's so much variety on offer and only a click away.
