In my humble opinion "Medieval Forge" and "Altores" are this time the leading manufacturers at the figure market! Third one is "Irbis".

What a lovely figure but surely it has a slight element of 'fantasy' because I fail to see how he could swing (2) Dacian Falx of that size in an effective manner? Indeed, I thought the purpose of the two handed falx was to provide maximum cutting and penetrating power using (both) arms to swing it? I will happily stand corrected if they actually did fight with (2) of these weapons of that size simultaneously and if so - Kudos to the Dacians!!

Irrespective, I will still buy it and enjoy painting it as both the detail and especially the subject are highly attractive for me!

Perhaps he's carrying a spare  I agree re the Falx but again like you Gary think this is a superb figure. That said I believe that some falx were like katanas made to be weilded with either one or two hands so it is barely possible that they were dual wielded, but unlikely as you say.

    Hi Steve.

Hope you are keeping well mate! As you say ...'possible' but highly unlikely unless it's Conan under that fur and helmet:LOL: . I have an idea to replace the left one with him carrying something like a Centurion's helmet as a trophy (hopefully without the head in it !)

I'm good mate you? That would be a nice idea with the helmet. I would keep the head in it, werent they head hunters?
