    Hello folks,
While i am almost finishing the Labayen figure i decided to do work on another figure.
This is a figure i had bought about 6 years ago, it was with a bunch of unfinished figures and parts and decided to put it to use.
The figure is from Art Girona, Originally an Officer of the Cadiz Militia, sculpted by talented Sculptor Diego Fernandez ( Diegoff) , i must say, this is the second figure from Diegoff, what a pleasure to have this gem in my hand, he did an awesome job.
I am still debating on which regiment to paint.
I have used a spare head i had since the original is nowhere to be found.
I did lower the height of the collar a little , added the fringe epaulette on the left shoulder , but all in all a very small modification, i have moved the right arm position a little .
I am torn apart between these 2 regiments,
Armagnac, all white with sky Blue lapels, or Regiment de Saintonge in the 1776 uniform colors, Sky blue collar and Aurora lapels and cuffs.
I will listen for suggestions :)

I have finished the cuff buttons, hair and small details.
As usual, i have primed the figure with self etching primer.

Hahah, funny you have mention that.
After i took these pics i noticed the left eye had a little bubble , due to a water residue when i cleaned the figure, i guess i did missed that part and sprayed the primee.
I removed it with an exacto knife and primed the area again.
So, Saintonge again on the list.
    Thanks mate!

That's interesting Daniel, it would appear that Saintonge had several changes of facing colour in quite a short space of time, blue, green, yellow, green, again and blue.... again.

That is correct, they had that colorful and unpopular 1776 regulation that was cancelled in 1779, so, it was a mix of colors and many changes.
    Cheers

I suspect a nice little income/scam for the Colonel and whoever the tailor was.
