A figure from David Zabroki at FeR miniatures.
Painted in acrylics and oil for the face and hands. I have given the figure a new head from the discontinued 60th Rifles from Tommys war.
Why G company, these were posted on the right of the battle on the forward edge of boulder strewn ground at the head of two dongas.
    Thanks for looking.

Dash out this minute and find a copy ( also the companion volume about Rorke's Drift ) You will not
be disappointed. In fact you'll probably be inspired to model all of 'G' Coy.

Another fantastic figure Bob. Great choice of subject as usual.
Your reds are consistently impressive and he's muddied up lovely.

Thank you very much for your coment Tony. Go on and give it a go, You don't have to go over board with the effect as it's only a powder, artist chalk dust will give the same effect.
    Thanks again.

The pose on this chap is quite reminiscent of an old Hinchliffe 100mm figure, I had one once but stupidly sold it!
    Very "stoic" looking isn't he...

I quite agree about the pose very 'Victorian do or die'. A very nice figure with some extreme detail ( some too small for my eye's, even with an optivisor).

    Cheers Keith,
Its a very good casting and goes together very nicely, no filler at all. Highly recommended to all fans of the Victorian period.
