I am one of those modellers who cannot imagine the figure universe without Historex.Wether one is building and painting straight from the box, modifying or just using their spare parts it makes no difference,Historex was is and hopefully will be for many more years, the Grand Damme of figure modelling!

    I agree with Oda.
A Historex was my first figure that I painted seriously.
The set with the train in overcoats is allready ordered. I think this figures are in resin because this kind of overcoats is not in there programm. Let's see.....

    Thanks Martin.
Like most of the the guys here I have an affinity with Historex NCO.
I just wish that their figures grew in scale proportionate with my failing eyesight.

    Beautifull release.
I have a huge box (plastic shopping box) full with Historex.
I doubt if I ever gonna use them.

Those artillery guys in their coats are a great addition to the range (at last!) I can see those being used for some conversions. Good to see they've re-released the Guard Infantry in greatcoats ; still available as spares, I believe, in their current listings. I still have drawers of spares, God help me, and still the go-to bits for enhancing 54's.

Do not dare bring them to Euromilitaire Marc,
I would either have to mug you outside the hotel, or make you an offer when you were drunk ! :) :D

My first figure was even a "Historex" one - it was a Chesseur à Cheval de la Garde Imperiale, and I was 16 years old...

    Long time ago **sigh**

Anybody remember the original 'Pyrogravure' - the one with the cork handle and two-pin plug ? Despite the purely cosmetic control switch,
it only really had two temperatures - '500 degrees C' and 'imminent total conflagration' .... Historex wasn't for the faint-hearted !

That one is positively modern and likely to be safe .... the one in my mind is a few years earlier, with interchangeable tips.
To use it was to take your life in your hands ... it's a miracle I'm still alive really !

It was a happy accident when I discovered that.

I saw these at Montrouge and was delighted to see both sets. My only gripe is why there's no option for a team of 6 horses too. Despite that it's good to see that the grand old lady is still innovating.

As an aside a marvellous diorama of a horse team in pouring rain was in competition there. 20170408_113354033_iOS.jpg

To be honest if I had to give away all my grey army My Historex stock would be about the last thing I'd hang on to.

I too still have my Pyrogravure!

    Hi Planeteers,
I received the kit today and I am realy exited about the content. You get the all you see on the pic, the train and also the fence and gate.
The overcoats, heads and also arms are made in resin. I think thats the real value of this kit cause this are new parts from Historex / Nemrod.
For instruction a little book is included also a color sheet as usual for the new kits.
    Here are the pics....
