Here is my finished product. Had such a good time on this piece. So much inspiration and reference available. Not to mention , I've been a fan of this painting since I started doing miniatures over 30 years ago. Never did I think I would be able to do my own one day.
I took artistic liberty, and added the Austrian soldier. Even added real feathers to his hat. Just wanted to separate mine from the rest a little. Hope you guys enjoy. Thanks for looking.

Very nice scene indeed. As I wrote, the idea I really like, the composition is beautiful and hilarious. Work on the pedestal is excellent, the terrain is perfect. And paint is great too. To summarize - a beautiful piece that will adorn your exhibition. Great work.
