Roberto Chaudon 1:8th scale resin Viking Bust
I have just received this latest release from Roberto Chaudon for review here on PF.
All parts are supplied in a plastic zip bag with a colour photo insert.
The kit is made up of fifteen resin parts. Close inspection of the parts show good quality casting and high level of detail. No evidence of any mould lines on any of the parts and only a few small mould blocks to remove from some parts.
Here we can see both back and front views of the bust. The front view shows excellent detail that has been sculpted into the various features of the tunic and fur. The back shows the location position of the shield and also the position holes in the hair that attach the tassels that hang from the helmet, the groove is also visible for locating the axe.
A close up side view shows us the exceptional Viking pattern that has been sculpted into the helmet, another close up of the face shows the high quality of sculpting that has been worked into the face of the bust.
Two options face guard options are included to attach to the helmet, full face guard or nasal guard.
The axe shows the same level of Viking engraving that is on the helmet.
