Young Miniatures brings us a 13 part resin kit of a USMC in Fallujah Iraq. Sculpted by Young B. Song the bust also has a GI Joe figure attached to his back straps.

Packaged in Young's traditional sturdy black cardboard box with a clear sleeve around the box to keep it closed. All the parts are sandwiched between layers of foam with all the small parts sealed in a zip lock bag.

Above are the four sides of the head showing the attention to detail as the hair strands coming from under the helmet.

Above you see the four sides of the regulation helmet with goggles on the front.

Above is the chest portion of the bust with the recess on top for the head and neck. Some mold blocks at the bottom need to be removed and can easily be done so.

Above are three views of the head dry-fitted into the helmet after the mold blocks have been removed with a dremel.

Above you see the helmet, head and chest dry-fitted together.

Above you see both sides of the front pouch which fits perfectly at the bust line on the right.

Above top you see the front and back of the rifle stock and on the bottom you see the front and back of the belts cast separately.

GI Joe Doll

Above you see the four sides of the GI Joe Doll that fastens into a pocket on the Marine's back.

Above you see the fronty and back view of the separate cast hands and arms of the GI Joe Doll.

As with each Young Kit we have the traditional bust plinth for supporting the bust on a wooden base.

Conclusion:
In my own opinion this is one of Young's best Military busts to date. The addition of the GI Joe Doll makes the bust unique. All dry-fitting was excellent with casting blocks easily removed. Highly recommended.

at first i was really surprised about the g.i. joe figure but than i saw the original pic! AWESOME bust!
