Hey Kenneth,
He is looking really nice and you are getting quite fast! I think you have improved quite a lot from the first figure that you showed. If I may just make a little suggestion on this figure. It is by no means right or wrong but by using the figure that you have it appears the hips are just a tad to large. It looks like you added the putty right on top of the DML/Dragon figure and that the uniform that was underneath is causing him to be a little wide. I am not sure how you did this but if I were using this figure I would have carved his uniform top all the way down until it was the same width as the pants and then added the putty on to it.
I do like how you have the pants bottoms hollowed out. Many times people leave them as a block but you have done a nice job! :)
I look forward to seeing more of the figure.
Joe
Absolutely Stunning Kenneth...........My brushes shake in their container just wanting to paint this!!!! :thumb:

Hi everyone  Thank you very much for all your kind comments;I really appreciate them.Joe,thanks for the critique on the hips of the figure In retrospect,it does seem a little wide at the hip end.As the figure is still in the construction phase,I'll go back and alter it according to you suggestion (that portion of the figure will be hidden by the uniform shirt,so altering it will not be a problem) I intend to work a bit more on the figure tonight(it's 11.30 p.m. here in Singapore at the moment)and I'll try to post more pictures tomorrow or the next day for your further comments Guy,Brian,Jim,Robin, thank you ever so much for your encouraging words :thumb: You guys have given me the incentive to carry-on improving. Thanks, once again !Cheers.
Kenneth.

You've got a nice composition going Ken. Joe articulated my feelings very well. I've done a few conversions like this, and you're better off taking off too much of the original than not enough.
